Fertil Pro® men + L-Carnitine

$80.99

A 100% natural dietary supplement designed to promote optimal health in men. This multivitamin formula combines the power of L-carnitine, vitamins A, C, E and B12, and the minerals selenium and zinc.

Check out the table below to see what scientific studies tell us about these ingredients:

L-Carnitine

Important for sperm maturation; improves sperm motility, vitality and count.

Vitamin C

Antioxidant that protects sperm from injury and improves sperm mobility and morphology.

Vitamin E

Preserves the viability of immature sperm, contributes to their maturation and improves sperm's ability to fertilize an egg.

Vitamin B12

As an important cofactor in cellular metabolism and DNA synthesis, it plays an important role in spermatogenesis.

Selenium

Cofactor of an important antioxidant enzyme in sperm and of a structural component of sperm itself.

Zinc

Helps sperm production, stabilizes sperm and may increase the activity of enzymes responsible for fertilization.

Acetyl-l-carnitine (acetyl-l-carnitine hcl)

Acetyl-L-Carnitine is an essential amino acid and antioxidant, involved in energy production and protection against oxidative stress. There is a positive correlation between seminal L-Carnitine concentration and sperm motility, vitality and quantity. L-carnitine is also involved in sperm maturation.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that has been shown to protect sperm DNA from oxidative damage. Clinical studies have shown that Vitamin C significantly improves sperm motility and morphology17-19.

Vitamin E (succinate)

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that maintains the viability of immature sperm and contributes to their maturation along the epididymis20,21. In addition, clinical studies have confirmed that Vitamin E improves the ability of sperm to fertilize the egg22.

Folic acid (folate, vitamin b9)

Like zinc, folic acid is directly involved in the production of spermatozoa suitable for fertilization. Folic acid is a B vitamin, necessary for the synthesis of nucleic acid (the basis of DNA) and amino acids (a source of energy)7. Its incorporation into the diet of sub-fertile men has proved its worth.

Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin)

Vitamin B12 is an important component of seminal fluid, whose concentration is positively correlated with sperm concentration27.

Zinc (gluconate)

In addition to its role in sperm production, zinc is an important stabilizer of sperm DNA structure29. It also plays an essential role in the activity of enzymes responsible for fertilization31.

Selenium (yeast extract)

Selenium is a cofactor (component) of one of the most important antioxidant enzymes in spermatozoa. It is also a structural component of spermatozoa11,12.
