Coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) acts as an antioxidant that activates energy production at the cellular level (mitochondria) and can help improve ovarian response in women with ovulation disorders or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties also help combat cell damage and support oocyte quality. Studies indicate its positive correlation with oocyte quality and pregnancy success.
L-Arginine
L-arginine helps vascularize follicles and the corpus luteum, and feeds blood vessels by synthesizing nitric oxide. This optimizes blood flow to the ovaries and endometrium. L-arginine thus promotes the production of an endometrium of optimal quality and thickness, conducive to embryo implantation (nidation). This is particularly beneficial for women undergoing fertility treatments.
Resveratrol
Resveratrol, which has anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenic properties, has been shown to relieve pain and reduce lesion size in endometriosis, suggesting its usefulness as a therapeutic agent in the management of this disease. Resveratrol may also attenuate manifestations of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), notably by reducing insulin resistance and improving ovarian morphology19,20. It also appears to influence the regulation of reproductive hormones and attenuate inflammation and oxidative stress by acting on the biological pathways concerned19,21.
